[Binge Worthy] – Empire On Blood

These my guys, so I take their recommendation seriously. About 10 mins in (maybe less), I completely understood why they recommended this shit. They’re from the Bronx. I’m from the Bronx. This show is about a dude from the Bronx who used to sell crack and run tings. He’s from our area of the Bronx, which made it even more interesting. Journalist Steve Fishman (a regular white dude from NYC) speaks to Calvin Buari (a young black dude originally from Jamaica that grew up on a corner known for dropping bodies) and a cast of other characters from Cal’s world.

The story is about a double murder that Cal was accused and convicted of. You’ll be listening to hear his story and his fight to be released from prison.

This is a REALLY well done show and I effing LOVED listening to it.
